Weekend Frivolity

All the bad weather and penny pinching has meant that our weekends have been seriously uneventful recently.

Jesse had his soccer party at the Wyoming Bowling Alley and the boys had a great time. I am fairly certain we spent an additional $30 at least on arcade games but it was totally worth it to see their smiley faces. 

I had absolutely nothing planned for Aaron for Father's Day so we spent the afternoon making him presents (I can't say anymore about it because I know Aaron will read this!)

On Sunday we met up with my fam for brunch. It was good to see them all. It doesn't happen enough! Everyone has their own lives.

The boys were so well behaved. I know sitting in a cafe is not their ideal Sunday morning.

So afterwards, we went to the park to spend some time riding around on scooters, kicking & passing the football and playing ninjas. Followed by a good old fashioned water fight complete with total disregard for the water restrictions (nobody dob us in!)

Memories are enough to keep my Mondayitis at bay today!
