Depending on whether you have people stay with you over the Christmas holidays or even if you are just hosting a party, there can be a lot to consider when having Christmas guests and making them feel welcome in your home.
Generally speaking my Mum and her fiance are the only ones who stay at our house over Christmas. I don't normally do anything overly special for them but I always like to make sure I remake beds, tidy up the room they will be staying in, and always give the main bathroom a good once over. These minor conveniences go a long way!
I have been collecting hotel shampoos and conditioners everywhere I go since I was a little kid. The most recent ones I have collected have been tucked away so that I can make up a little guest basket with all sorts of creature comforts that house guests might come to need while staying with us.
I used a Christmas basket that I bought from Kmart. Along with my **completely free** hotel shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion, I also have some great mini toothpaste, mouthwash and floss to include from my Dad (he isn't a miniature person, he just works in oral health). I also like to include a few snacks and some bottled water to make guests feel more at home. Because this is Christmas themed, I decided to add some Reindeer Noses that I whipped up.
Do you have people stay with you at Christmas? Do you do anything extra special for your guests?
